Main emphasis of our laboratory methods concentrates on measurement of soil physical parameters like texture, density, determination of hydraulic conductivities, soil water retention curves or aggregate stabilities.

Our chemical determinations focus on those methods which are of basic interest for soil/water management or which are needed for soil physical analisís (such as organic carbon content to determine soil texture).

All methods are conducted according to  standard working procedures which may be related to either national or international standards.

Beside the standard procedures (see topic methods), we test and develop new methods to describe soil physical properties.
